This product is a geographic puzzle. The map is divided based on country borders, latitudes and longitudes. It consists of 116 puzzle pieces and ten border pieces.

 

▪ Graphic information

Groups of smaller countries are joined into connected puzzles. Puzzles contain codes of countries, and the locations of the capital cities are marked. The map includes a graphic of the main rivers and lakes. The rest of the puzzles show surrounding islands and water bodies. A legend is sorted alphabetically by countries. It also includes the full names of the capitals and basic information. The legend is located at the bottom of the box.

 

▪ History of the origin

Cartographer John Spilsbury is credited as the inventor of the jigsaw puzzle. Most excitingly, the first puzzle he created was a map puzzle for educational purposes. He made the first puzzle map in 1766.
