It's made of cork and provides a lot of fun. But there's something wrong with our game board. It doesn't have dots, but holes, in fact, ten holes! How do we change the holes to dots? And who can do it first?

The board game Ladybug brings an exciting, fun, and educational battle for dots! And a pinch of mathematics, too.

This social game supports children's development in the following areas:

      • Mathematical skills (numbers - quantity, counting, comparing)
      • Social skills
      • Attention and concentration
      • Fine motor skills

GAME PRINCIPLE: The game is designed for 1 to 2 players. There are ten dual-coloured pegs and a die (0 - 5 points). Players slide pegs into holes and fill in the rows with dots.

RULES FOR 1 PLAYER: The player rolls the die. The number of points rolled determines how many pegs to slide into the holes in a row. The player continues until the entire row is filled with dots. More challenging variant: The player can use the dual colour of pegs. First, assign a colour to each wing and then alternately fill the wings with pegs with black and natural tops.

RULES FOR 2 PLAYERS: Players slide pegs of a designated colour into holes on their wing. Then, they also try to fill the opponent's wing with their pegs. The winner is the first to fill both wings with their dots!

      • Players take turns rolling the die. The player who rolls the higher number selects the peg colour (with a black or natural top) and the row's wing. The game begins.
      • The first player rolls the die. The number rolled determines how many pegs (e.g., with a black top) to slide into the holes on their wing.
      • Then, the second player rolls the die and slides the pegs with a natural top into the holes on their wing.
      • Players take turns rolling the die and sliding pegs. When one player fills their wing, they continue by turning the opponent's pegs so that their colour is on top. The second player does the same. The game ends when all ten holes are filled with the same colour pegs.

The game is made from natural materials. The eco-friendly colours comply with European standards approved for toy surface treatment and are safe for children.

The game is suitable for ages three and up.

      Made in Slovakia.
